Like many of us, art has been my first language. Before I could articulate any one word, I signed, I scribbled, and doodled. Like many more of us, that language got rusty, crusty, and dusty from lack of use. Honestly? I neglected it for quite some time.

NO MORE I SAY!

Art in all of its forms (i.e., music, dance, literature etc.) transcends cultures, political, and religious differences. It’s our humanity in expression, and extension of ourselves, and how we process the world around us. I think art has the capacity to connect and create, dismantle and direct. It is humanity’s universal language.

So, I am using our shared language to explore the richness of cultures like my own (Vietnam), and advocate for planetary and human rights. After all, what is life but a collective adventure?
